Many Ways to Volunteer
Attention Ham Radio Operators!
Kendall County ARES can use your assistance for this event. We are in need of operators to staff the rest stops, SAG vehicles, and shadow various ride officials and work crews. Additionally, if you are already volunteering in a different capacity, why not bring your 2 meter hand held along with you? We will be operating our communications net on the local repeater, so you will be able to communicate directly with our net control during the event, and possibly reduce our need for dedicated staffing for the ride. Join us as a Volunteer
Register online to be a Rolling on the River volunteer. When you register as a volunteer you will be asked if you plan to camp (yes/no). If you say yes, you will be contacted by Cindy regarding which night you plan to camp. Fundraising
We encourage our volunteers to join in on FUNdraising for the environment. Not required but very rewarding and it's easy to do! You can fundraise for Rolling on the River online with a website we'll give you to personalize and by emailing folks the link to your page. They donate online directly to you---and you may qualify for some of our great fundraising prizes!
Just click on "donations" and "Become a Fundraiser" You'll be emailed a website template you can put a personal message on…email to friends. Select one of our three groups and what you raise will help that group qualify for matching funds!
