"This event gives our children the opportunity to practice being responsible citizens of the earth by riding and collecting funds for such a worthy cause AND it's all wrapped in a very well organized, healthy, and extremely fun event for the entire family. We've loved our rides the past 2 years and plan on making it an annual event! Our eighth grader was so impressed with the ride last year, it was his topic for his ISAT essays this year! Saving the Environment is a Team Effort!
- Form a team to make fundraising easier and more fun.
- Many teams create their own jersey or shirt.
- Check with your employer to see if they will match what you raise.
- Great event for cycling clubs, scouts, youth groups, corporations and families.
- See how fun you can make your team! Ask family and friends to join your team!
Teams are for fun and fundraising. Team members DO NOT have to all ride the same length ride!!

Create a Team:
Follow the steps below to create your Rolling on the River 2008 team! Teams need to be created by the team captain.
- Choose a team name and select a team captain
- Go to the Rolling on the River registration site at Active.com
- Select REGISTER NOW
- Select TEAM REGISTRATION
- Select TEAM CAPTAINS - CREATE AND JOIN YOUR TEAM
- Fill in the information including the team name
- Complete payment information
- Your team is created! Email your friends and family to join your team!!!
Team Captains - you can log into your fundraising page to check your status and see how much money you have raised to date. To log back into your fundraising page go to http://www.active.com/donations/ and enter in your username & password (this was emailed to you after you registered). At any time, between now and the fundraising ride, you can view your donations to date, complete with online donor information.
Join a Team:
Team must be created before you register. Don't have a team yet? Create your team by following the steps above or you can join ANY TEAM that has been created!!
- Go to the Rolling on the River registration site at Active.com
- Select REGISTER NOW
- Select ADULT TEAM MEMBERS - JOIN YOUR TEAM
- Select your team from the drop down box and then fill in your registration information
- Complete payment information
- You've joined your team! Email your friends and family to join as well!!!
